The government of Bihar has launched Mukhyamantri Nishchay Swayam Sahayata Bhaata Yojana (MNSSBY) under the first commitment of Aarthik Hal Yuwaonko Bal. In this scheme, the unemployed permanent resident of Bihar state, who are in the age group of 20 to 25 years and have passed class 12th but not enrolled in any higher education, would be provided financial assistance of Rupees One Thousand per month for a maximum period of two years for searching for employment.
The beneficiary will undergo a mandatory training of 240 hours (3 months) for KushalYuva Programme.
Youth age between 15 to 25 yrs., the minimum qualification shall be 10th pass and dropped out thereafter or 12th pass and dropped out thereafter i.e. those who are not continuing with formal education after passing class 10 or class 12. Successful completion of the training under Kushal Yuva Program would be mandatory for candidates who are in the age group of 20 to 25 years and wish to avail self-help allowance.
The state government of Bihar going to implement the Student credit card scheme from the 2nd of October. It’s a specially designed scheme for students to pursue higher studies. The scheme has been approved by the Bihar CM, and the State is all set to launch this scheme on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
The main objective of the scheme is to provide students of Bihar with enough financial support so that they can pursue their higher studies. There are many students in Bihar who do not continue their studies after school, due to the lack of money. This scheme would encourage them to carry on with their studies. Though there are other education loans available students do not avail it due to the interest rate factor, but this scheme provides an interest free loan. The government of Bihar is aiming at proving the students credit cards to around 5 lakh students in Bihar.
